Spa Etiquette
Reservation Policy:
Reservations need to be made at least 24 hours in advance for individual
treatments and 1 week in advance
for spa parties. Appointments can be made online with the make
an appointment request form or by calling 360-513-7412. Weekends
book up quickly so we suggest making a reservation well in advance
to ensure the time of your choice. Reservations can be booked up
to three months in advance. Once a time has been scheduled we will
call you back to confirm. For spa parties a deposit of 50% of the
total is required to hold the reservation. An email confirmation
canl be sent with all the details of your treatment or spa party.
Cancellation Policy:
I appreciate your respect of my valuable time which has been
reserved for you. I request at least 24 hours notice for canceling
or rescheduling an appointment for individual services. A $20 fee
will be billed for all massage and 35% for cancellations of any
spa services cost will apply. Your courtesy is greatly appreciated
by the client who wanted a service but found there was no time available.
Thank you for your thoughtfulness. Phone notification and/or notification
through email is acceptable. The full fee of the session will be
charged for failure to notify me and failure to show up for a scheduled
appointment. A minimum of 4 hours notice to receive a 50% refund.
Cancellation Policy for Group Events/Spa Parties:
Cancellations for group events or for an entire spa party must
be made 4 days in advance in order to receive deposit refund. Cancellations
for group events less than 4 days before event date, are not subject
to deposit refund. Once your appointment date has been guaranteed
48 hours in advance of your event/spa party, we will be unable to
issue a refund for any individual guest cancellations or no-shows.
Payment Methods:
We accept cash, check and debit cards with a MC, Visa, Discover,
American Express logo or PayPal (we must receive the check prior
to appointment date for spa parties). Our spa technicians may accept
a cash gratuity (tip). A $30 fee is charged for returned checks.
Gratuities:
Please note that treatment prices do not reflect gratuity. If you
are pleased with the services you have received, it is customary
to give an Industry standard 15% to 20% gratuity to your Spa Technician.
Age Requirement:
Clients must be at least 16 years of age. Clients under the age
of 16 must have adult supervision.
Spa technician(s) right to refuse service:
Doorstep Day Spa & Massage reserves the right to immediately
discontinue service should intoxication, lewd/inappropriate behavior
or any medical conditions that were not mentioned at time of reservation.
Such as: open wounds, skin rashes, or lesions. Discontinued services
are not subject to refund.
Check In:
Please arrive approximately 10-15 minutes before your scheduled
appointment time. It will help ensure that you receive every minute
of your treatment with us! Sessions will begin and end at scheduled
times. Sessions that are begun late due to client arriving late
will end at the appointed time and will be full price.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
-Please do not shave legs prior to treatments.
-Abstain from alcoholic beverages 24 hours prior to treatment.
-Eat lightly prior to service.
-Some body treatments are not recommended during pregnancy or for
those suffering from high blood pressure or heart disease. If you
neglect to inform us of such conditions, you do so at your own risk.
