Therapeutic

re-educate muscles for increase range of motion and decrease
tension. Trigger Points, which are irritable spots stuck
in tight bands of muscle, and Myofascial Release (MFR) is
used which is a hands on technique, which evaluates and
treats the fascial system, which is connective tissue that
webs itself from head to toe surrounding every muscle throughout
the human body.Tightness or binding in the fascial system
create pain throughout the body because of the tremendous
pulling forces. Release of the fascial tightness and trigger
points can allow for freedom of movement for nerves, muscles,
bones, and organs, thereby often decreasing the associated
pain.

This little treat is geared toward expecting women. The trauma on the body during pregnancy and labor often leaves us feeling tight and tender in the lower back, shoulders and neck area. Added to this, the postural adjustments that the spine has to endure and the pressure on the upper body when feeding can result in poor posture and extra stress and strain on the muscles. Massage helps he muscles regain their original shape and tension, whilst assisting the body with removal of stress and toxins. This massage can be done prenatal and postpartum.
